This is simultaneously fascinating and creepy—”Bigbird” the pelican didn’t know how to fly. He was rescued by humans after a storm in Tanzania, but he had a little learning to do. So his human friends ran up and down the beach flapping their arms. Ultimately, Bigbird took flight—with a camera strapped to his beak. Behold:
